Where you'll be working
Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing
The Child Care Centre Cook plans and prepares meals with reference to developmental, cultural and special dietary needs of enrolled children.

Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated understanding of safe food handling practices and the handling of food service equipment
Demonstrated menu planning experience with the provision of nutritionally based meals for young children, including multicultural meals and flexible meal options for children with special diets.
Effective time management skills with ability to prepare and provide meals and snacks within required timeframes
Flexibility, good communication skills (both written and oral) & professionalism.
Ability to work unsupervised and in collaboration with the broader child care team
Able to interact and consult with a diverse range of staff and families of the service of differing backgrounds
Current First Aid Certificate and asthma and anaphylaxis certificate or wiliness to obtain.
