About the Role
In this Director of Finance position, you will play an integral part of the ACT executive leadership team as well as instrumental in managing the performance of operations and improving outcomes. This hands-on role will see you leading a large team across various sectors of the business, whilst developing strong relationships both at a financial & non-financial level. Along with the below:
Duties:
- Play a pivotal role in influencing decisions across various sectors including operations & finance teams.
- Lead, coach, mentor and develop members of the finance and wider teams
- Ensure all reporting of the financial and management accounts are accurate and updated and analysis provided to the leadership as well as corporate team.
- Manage strong stakeholder relationships by providing financial guidance and support, whilst assisting in interpreting financial results
- Evaluate and identify current and future opportunities for growth and conduct risk analysis alongside proposing solutions.
- Support continued growth opportunities in the business whilst identifying areas of improvement, problem solving etc.
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications & professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA)
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Proven strong financial and management reporting skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced excel skills
