We have shifts available during both term time and vacation care located at St Martins in Davidson, with the potential for extra shifts across all of our Northern Beaches sites. Flexibility and reliability to turn up to a shift with short notice will be key to being successful in this role. This position is Casual and would a give you flexibility with studying or working part time.
Duties
Working in our Out of School Hours Care is both rewarding and fun with the opportunity to be creative with caring for school age children.
To be successful as a Casual Childcare Educator for an OSHC program you will have;
- An ability to build relationships with children, their families and school staff.
- A commitment to ensuring all policies, procedures and regulatory frameworks are met.
- An understanding about safeguarding children and provision of a safe work environment.
- Attend training as required.
- Working With Children Check and Criminal History Check
- Strong communication and relationship building skills, with the team and with children aged 5-12
- Experience in a related service sector or qualifications in the Children's services sector would be highly regarded.
