Lighthouse ELC is a privately owned and operated long day care provider located in Daleys Point on the Central Coast. Our service caters for up to 60 children per day and operates between the hours of 7am-6pm.
Our team are committed to building a trusting, secure and supportive environment for children and families while providing quality care that enables each individual to thrive and succeed in their own development.
We are seeking dedicated childcare professionals for positions within our team and currently have multiple part-time and full-time positions available.

CERTIFICATE III or DIPLOMA QUALIFIED POSITIONS:
Your key priorities will include the following:
- Nurture and care for children aged between 6 weeks to 6 years
- Develop, implement and evaluate daily care routines
- Assist in planning and implementing a play-based, emergent curriculum in line with the Early Years Learning Framework
- Build and maintain positive relationships with educators, children and families - Ability to ensure confidentiality and professionalism is maintained
Successful candidates must have the following:
- Hold either a Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services, or be actively working towards this qualification.
- Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
Wages are negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.

CERITFICATE III TRAINEESHIPS:
Lighthouse ELC are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team and work simultaneously while completing a nationally recognised qualification in early childhood education and care. This 18 month traineeship opportunity will see you being mentored by our wonderful team of educators and supported by TAFE New South Wales. On completion, you will receive your Certificate III in Children's Services qualification with the opportunity to further your studies and continue on to complete a Diploma in Children's services traineeship.
Required Skills:
You will have a genuine interest in childcare and be a hardworking, responsible individual. You will also need to posses the following attributes:
- Have a genuine interest in perusing a career in early childhood
- Have a positive, enthusiastic, and upbeat attitude
- Flexible, energetic, and committed
- Great communication skills and be a confident communicator
- An ability to create positive relationships with co-educators, children and their families
- No prior experience is required
