  • Provide support, training and education to staff on program and practice issues to enhance their skills, knowledge and understanding of programs.
  • Ensuring the availability of reliable data through the accurate and timely recording of information on the Territory Families client information and case management systems.

  • Extensive experience in conducting strength-based assessments, developing, and delivering effective interventions, and a demonstrated capacity to apply best practice principles.
  • Significant experience working within a legislative framework, a demonstrated ability to interpret and apply complex legislation.
  • Ability to communicate and work constructively within culturally diverse settings, including Aboriginal culture, family and community structures.
  • Highly developed oral, written communication skills, including developing and delivering formal and informal training for staff and the preparation of court reports.
  • Preparedness to travel in 4WD vehicles or light planes, as required, and ability to undertake travel including overnight stays as necessary.
