Your Role:
The role as a Psychologist/Provisional Psychologist sits within the Clinical Therapy Team. Your main responsibilities include;
- Provision of individual and/or group therapy and assessment (cognitive, educational and neurodevelopmental) services to CoolKid clients (children, adolescents and families).
- Preparation of assessment reports and management of ongoing correspondence with referring doctors and other allied health practitioners.
- Maintenance of professional standard case notes, file management and the upholding of all required legal and ethical standards as outlined by the relevant registration bodies and legislation policies applicable to registered allied health providers.
- Creation of and contribution to the development of new programs and practice specific clinical resources - if you are a creative type, we want you.
PROVISIONAL PSYCHOLOGISTS: Successful candidates will join our pilot program were we offer weekly clinical tutorials with our experienced psychologist to provide you with specific training on how to be a Child Psychologist in private practice. We teach you how to work with kids and provide therapy to children and teens. This is in addition to the AHPRA required clinical supervision.
Registered Psychologist's can opt for a permanent part time or contract role. Contracting work is considered based on the clinicians experience and capacity to work autonomously.
