We are looking for a Centre Chef to join our kitchen team in our Truganina centre! You will be instrumental in assisting with the day-to-day operations of our centre kitchen.

About the Centre
Aspire Truganina is part of the Westbrook Estate and caters for children aged 6 weeks old in our nursery to 6 years old within our comprehensive Kindergarten Program. We are conveniently located a short distance from Tarneit Station, Tarneit Central Shopping Centre and a short walk to Yamada Community Park.
We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and qualifications:
- Have a passion for cooking delicious food for children
- Commercial Cookery Qualifications / Diploma or higher
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Safe Food Handling Certificate
- Have the ability to cater for allergies and dietary requirements
- Plan nutritionally balanced meals in line with the Healthy Together Achievement Program
- Ensure health & safety standards are maintained at a high level at all times
- Food safety knowledge
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to work on your own and maintain a clean and functional kitchen
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Current Working with Children check, First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- Previous experience in childcare preferred
