HEI Schools St Leonards Early Education Centre is one of our services located in St Leonards, NSW. We are seeking a talented and motivated Centre Cook to join our team.
ABOUT YOU:
- Holding recognised and required qualifications such as cookery, food safety supervisor etc.
- Having working experience within the early childhood sector
- Holding Certificate III in early childhood education preferred
- Holding core values of building and maintaining strong relationships and partnerships with children, families and colleagues
- Having a mindset of respect and appreciation for a strong team culture of working together
- Having an open mind and belief to embrace new early childhood education concepts for a better future for children
- Having a National Police Check valid within 6 months or willingness to complete
- Holding a current Working with Children Check (Employee)
KEY DUTIES:
- Establish suitable menus and recipes with the Centre Director
- Prepare meals for all the children in the centre
- Make sure all the ingredients in the meals are safe and suitable for children
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and safe
