Under the guidance of the Production Coordinator, you’ll apply your hands-on experience as an Operator Maintainer and oversee crew operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, training, and positive client communication for successful results.

Enjoy a flexible schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off, with shifts rotating day and night.

At our camp based in Copperbella, you'll find a warm reception, delicious homemade meals, gym facilities, and a relaxing spot to unwind.

Primary Duties:

• Functioning as an Operator Maintainer, supervising the team to meet daily CHPP targets.
• Coordinate shift duties among operators for proper rotation and breaks.
• Keep track of consumables like flocculant, magnetite, and diesel, and order as needed.
• Adjust process variables such as medium density, spiral settings, and chemical dosages.
• Ensure efficient loading of trains.
• Monitor equipment performance, levels, pressures, flows, and material recovery.
• Identify and suggest improvements for CHPP operation.
• Responsible for plant breakdown management decisions and ensuring completion of crew-assigned routine maintenance tasks.

Who are you?

• Trade Qualified – Australian recognised Electrical or Mechanical Qualification.
• S1, S2, S3 and Standard 11 accreditation.
• Previous experience as a step-up supervisor is highly regarded.
• Ability to encourage and direct others with clear communication.
• Work experience in mining, civil, or industrial environments is essential.
• Live in the Bowen Basin, or nearby region, or be willing to relocate.
• Known for being a positive and safety-conscious team player.
