Permanent Full Time - 40.25 hours per week 

$92,794.86 to $99,425.80  Annually  + up to 12% super  

RCC Officers' Level 4 (including applicable allowances)  + commuter use of Council vehicle

Your opportunity

Our Roads, Drainage and Marine Maintenance Team are looking for two Maintenance Crew Supervisors who will be responsible for leading and managing a team of employees and contractors. This exciting opportunity will see you conduct inspections and investigate maintenance defects and/or complaints over a wide range of activities and assets and prepare works programs in accordance with service level agreements, budget constraints and established timelines.

Guided by our Values, you will:

  • Be responsible for the efficient, effective, and timely delivery of civil infrastructure, drainage maintenance and construction services.
  • Undertake a high level of mentoring, training and collaborating in a team-based environment to optimise productivity and achieve outcomes for the Unit.
  • Supervise employees and contractors ensuring works comply with Council policies, servicing requirements, workplace health and safety requirements and environmental protection requirements.
  • Actively participate in and promote a customer focused and team-based approach within the Unit to achieve positive outcomes for the Unit and Council.

Eligibility

  • You'll hold current Class C Drivers Licence.
  • You'll hold a Certificate IV Civil Construction Supervision or equivalent.
  • You'll have a minimum 5 years' experience in a relevant field.
  • You'll have the ability to participate in the after-hours on-call roster, including remote response and site-related operations over weekends and public holidays on a rostered basis.
