An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic and successful team. As a key member of the team and reporting directly to the Mining Production Superintendent, this multifaceted role will see you responsible for the safe and efficient removal of waste and the quality mining of coal, whilst focusing on equipment reliability and continuous improvement. This critical role has a direct influence on the success of the mining team, and leading people to achieve agreed output goals.
To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience and knowledge of Truck & Shovel mining practices as well as a broader understanding of all aspects of open cut mining. You are an experienced and ethical leader, coupled with the ability to guide large-scale teams in a complex mining environment. Your capability to influence a diverse, high performing work force to achieve the mine plan, whilst ensuring the safety and health of all personnel and equipment in and around the mining operation will be essential to your success. Ideally you will hold an Open Cut Examiner's qualification, however this is not essential.
