About The Role
The CHPP Supervisor will support our Gunnedah Open Cuts Operation by maximising the operating capacity and availability of all mobile and fixed equipment. This role will be predominately have a focus on maintenance, however, there will be some production requirements on a need’s basis.
What You’ll Do
- Work in a team environment and coordinate coal preparation activities in a cost-effective and efficient manner
- Lead and mentor CHPP personnel to ensure safety, production and maintenance targets are achieved
- Execute daily planned task observations, hazard reporting and safety interactions
- Demonstrate safety leadership in the workplace, fostering OH&S awareness and promoting continuous improvement
What You’ll Bring
- Demonstrated relevant experience in coal preparation activities
- Trade or tertiary qualifications desirable
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Adherence to and active participation of our STRIVE Values (Safety, Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, Value, Excellence)
- Live local to the area or willingness to relocate (assistance provided)
