Our Aftermarket department at Reid Road are looking for their next Maintenance Planner to join the team!
Reporting to the Perth Branch FS and Workshop Manager, theMaintenance Planner primary accountability will be to work with the inputs from the Customer Service Delivery Team (Customer Coordinators) and Execution team to provide an accurate & detailed plan to facilitate assorted repairs and rebuilds, maximising utilisation of our trade resources.
Providing a Schedule/Gantt that will enable an efficient compliance to plan process for the various execution teams, the machine Build Gannt's will be the single point of reference for the safe and efficient execution of Rebuild work within the department.
Critical to success will be using current scheduling tools, to enable the forecasting of peaks and troughs in workload and maintain relationships with other service stores (first within the branch, then more broadly across the metro) to load level trade resources to work and engage the sales team in advance where there is capacity in future to bring in additional work.
Location: Perth Precinct (Reid Road - Perth Airport)
Roster: 5 Days 2 Off 10.5hrs
To be successful the following is required:
- Extensive experience within a Maintenance Planning function
- Demonstrated ability to scope and quote jobs for business development requirements
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships
- Basic understanding of financial principles (e.g., budgeting, forecasting)
- Experience with planning tools such as AMT, Project, Power BI, Excel, and Smart Sheets
- Advanced computer literacy skills - MS Office, internet-based applications
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to effectively resolve issues in the workplace
- High level attention to detail aiding successful execution of plan(s)
- Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and priorities to meet objectives
- Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
Desirable:
- Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Mobile Maintenance Planning experience in same or similar industry
- Caterpillar product knowledge, including drills and shovels
- Continuous Improvement experience
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to absorb technical information quickly
