Responsibilities
Effectively manage Council’s Children’s Services to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Lead, develop, and manage the Children’s Services Teams to deliver exceptional early childhood education and care services for the community. Facilitate business improvement processes and promote service utilisation through innovative strategies.
Lead Council’s Child Safe Organisation Working Group and ensure staff compliance with policies and procedures.
Preferred Skills
Tertiary qualifications in Early Education and Care or related discipline with extensive experience in Local Government. Proven knowledge of Education and Care Services laws and standards.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements
- Ability to develop and implement policies and processes
- Experience in developing and implementing innovative solutions to promote services is highly desirable.
