Job description

Your new roleYou will work as part of a small, dedicated team to ensure the effective and efficient running of our Civic Centre function spaces, preparing for and supporting various internal and external meetings and events. Your duties will include setting up function rooms, supporting catering tasks with external caterers, stocking kitchenettes and amenities and monitoring the cleanliness and maintenance of the Civic Centre. This role is varied and no 2 days are the same!This is a casual role based at our Civic Centre. This is a Band 4 classified role, remuneration will be $43.84 - $46.69 per hour (inclusive of casual loading in lieu of annual leave, personal leave & public holidays) (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.What you will need to thriveThe key selection criteria for this role are:
  • A positive outlook, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to accept deliveries, manage stock and move office furniture with ease.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings.
  • Sound computer skills.
