A leading local council in the inner suburbs of Melbourne has a short term temporary requirement for a Civic Facilities officer to assist them in various communities’ hubs located close to public transport.

Your new role

Daily tasks including the servicing of meeting rooms on the client floor

• Tea and coffee service

• Configuring and clearing boardrooms

• Ordering and arranging catering

• Assisting with the organisation and servicing of client and staff events.

• Managing customer expectations and maintaining high customer service levels.

• Handling customer complaints and providing suitable outcomes.

• Building relationships with our customers and clients.

• Work closely with catering vendors to ensure transparency between front and back of house.

What you'll need to succeed

Our ideal candidates will be highly motivated, friendly and enjoy working in a team environment. Your commitment to providing quality service will be paramount as this role is for a hospitality focused individual who is dedicated to providing a great service to these councils various events.

Ideally you will have:

• A proven background in hospitality and high volume customer facing roles

• Highly effective communication skills

• Works well in a team environment and actively participates in team discussions

• Displays a positive hands-on approach to the role with a strong desire to succeed

• An ability to systemise, implement and enforce procedures

• Displays a passion for superior customer service and an attention to detail

• The ability to forge lasting relationships with key stakeholders within the legal firm

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• An ability to remain focussed and proactive at all times
