As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking skilled and experienced Concrete & Steel Fixers & Leads to join our dynamic team.
Duties:
- All aspects of concrete and steel fixing operations, including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.
- Reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Setting out and marking areas for concrete and steel fixing according to engineering drawings.
- Fabricating, assembling, and installing steel reinforcement bars and mesh as per project requirements.
- Pouring, levelling, and finishing concrete surfaces to specified tolerances and finishes.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards at all times.
- Training and mentoring junior staff to develop their skills and capabilities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Civil Construction, with a focus on concrete and steel fixing.
- Strong understanding of construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment for concrete and steel fixing.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Relevant certifications and licenses
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug test
- Must be able to work away in remote locations across Western Australia
