Nestled within The Crocodile Hunter Lodge, the Warrior Restaurant is purposely built to provide guests with an opportunity to enjoy the Warrior ambience. With a number of seating options, the casual-fine-dining restaurant has the opportunity to seat up to 200 people per service, contains private dining rooms and is built with sentimental history incorporated into all elements of the space.
Reporting to the AV & Video Production Manager, you will be responsible for filming, editing and delivering high quality video content across multiple platforms.
Furthermore, this is a multipurpose position and you will also manage, maintain and operate equipment for daily shows/presentations and special events.
Duties Include –
- Pre-production, filming and post production editing on regular YouTube episodes ensure that they are brand compliant and correct policies and guidelines are adhered to.
- Pre-production, filming and post production editing on social media, television, media, advertising and internal content.
- Voice over, field and location recording, audio mixing and mastering.
- Script editing to comply with project requirements.
- Operation of audio equipment and systems including live audio setup/installation.
- Operation of digital and analog mixing consoles and processors, live audio systems maintenance and wireless frequency management.
- Operate and maintain sound and vision recording, mixing and production equipment.
- Operation of visual equipment and systems including live vision mixing, live visions systems maintenance and live remote camera operation.
- Facilitate various live streamed events and functions, including but not restricted to Zoo event days, weddings, proposals and live shows.
- Maintenance of zoo equipment including repairs of AV and electrical equipment, fixed PA systems and camera gear.
- Design, assemble, operate and maintain sound /vision recording, mixing and production equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues with various audio and music systems, extrapolating existing knowledge to sometimes unique situations.
- Application and gaining of experience and knowledge about production software and hardware.
- Executing practical aspects of all software used within the Audio Visual Department.
- Assist in external enquiries regarding events and equipment.
- Participate in performance training and development reviews or programs as requested by the company both on and off the job.
- Liaise with other departments to facilitate filming, rehearsals, training, maintenance and installation of equipment.
Essential Criteria –
- Full Availability, and flexibility to work all days including weekends, public holidays and school holidays.
- Ability to edit using premiere pro, with skills in AE and Photoshop.
- Proven ability to operate AV equipment in a live environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Well-developed organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Preferred Criteria –
- Experience in a similar role.
