Civil Construction Traineeship

Protech SA are seeking motivated individuals to undertake an entry-level Civil Construction Traineeship within the Asphalt Industry.

This 3-year fulltime position will enable you to develop relevant skills and knowledge within the industry through working hands-on, and support this with study on-the-job towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Civil Construction.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Immediate Start
• Work full-time hours whilst learning on the job
• Overtime & leave entitlements provided
• Complete a Certificate III in Civil Construction (3 year traineeship)
• Receive a nationally recognised trade qualification
• Daily duties will be conducted via a buddy system, where tasks will be completed in conjunction with training modules
• Potential for ongoing placement at the completion of training

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Learn and assist with general asphalt tasks under supervision.
• Gain experience in setting up and dismantling onsite equipment with guidance.
• Follow instructions to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Embrace training opportunities to develop skills and knowledge in Civil Construction practices.

ABOUT YOU

• A strong desire for a Civil Construction Career
• Car Licence and a reliable vehicle
• Construction White Card
• Ability to perform manual work
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and urine drug screen
• Provide 2 recent, contactable work references
