RTO Civil Construction Trainer & Assessor
We are currently seeking a qualified Perth based Civil Construction Trainer and Assessor to assist with delivery to our existing client base, while also assisting to expand our footprint in WA in the following workplace-based programs:
- Certificate IV in Civil Construction
This position could be Full-time, Casual or Contractor, depending on the suitable applicant.
The Trainer and Assessor will be responsible for the professional delivery of nationally accredited and recognised training and assessment while maintaining compliance within the engaged industry.
Day-to-day duties of the role will include but are not limited to:
- Deliver structured and engaging training sessions following the designated training plans
- Conduct assessments, observations and mentoring
- Promote learning outcomes
- Work with students with varied learning needs from different backgrounds
- Complete administrative duties and training documentation as required
- Assist with growth of business through new and existing networks
Essential Criteria:
- TAE40116 Certificate IV Training and Assessment or higher
- Current vocational competencies in the qualification being delivered or an equivalent qualification or higher
- A minimum of 5 years industry currency in the Civil Construction sector
- Relevant experience as a TAE Trainer/Assessor
- Ability to adapt to a diverse work environment
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Current Police Check and Working with Children’s check or willing to obtain
- Existing network and ability to bring on new business
- Willing to travel with access to own vehicle
