The Role
An exciting opportunity exists within our Infrastructure Services directorate for a Civil Construction Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for providing labouring duties associated with roads and drainage maintenance and construction in the Whitsunday region.
Essential
- C Class ‘Manual’ Drivers Licence.
- General Construction Safety Induction (White card).
- Traffic Management Implementation or willingness to obtain soon after appointment.
- Certificate III in Civil Construction or willingness to obtain soon after appointment.
Desirable
- Occupation Health and Safety Certificates of Competency in LR, LL, LB, LG, LF.
- Class MR or HR/HC Drivers licence.
- Operational Competency in Plant Operation for Roller, Backhoe, Grader, Bobcat (Skid Steer).
- Traffic Control Ticket.
