About the role
icubed consulting is at the forefront of delivering exceptional Civil Design services in the booming wind farm sector across Australia and New Zealand. Due to strong growth and an exciting pipeline of projects, icubed has opportunities for Civil Engineering professionals based in our Toowoomba office.
We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Civil Engineers and Designers specialising in road design, drainage and infrastructure development to join our dynamic team. You will have a solid foundation in civil engineering principles, a passion for sustainable design, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
As a key team member, you will contribute to delivering the best engineering outcomes within project timelines, budgets and most importantly to our client’s satisfaction. Strong communication skills are essential for building client relationships and working effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and report risks to Principal Consultants.
- Complete designs to company standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage Design projects within specified time, cost, and quality objectives.
- Maintain ongoing client and Council engagement throughout projects.
- Liaise with all project stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Monitor and report on project progress, including cost versus budget.
- Demonstrate experience in quality assurance and project compliance.
- Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering
- Demonstrated experience in assisting with the planning, management and delivery of civil projects.
- Ability to effectively liaise with design and project teams
- Advanced written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to collaborate and work with colleagues to meet project requirements.
- Competency in essential software packages; 12D Model, PC Drain, AutoCAD, Drains, Vehicle Tracking, MS Office Suites, Pipes ++, MUSIC, HEC-RAS
- Willingness to occasionally travel for inspections of interstate projects.
