We are searching for an experienced Civil Designer who is familiar with most areas of civil engineering design and documentation including -
- Roadworks & Drainage
- Carparking
- Earthworks
- Sewer & Water Reticulation
- Preparation of Stormwater Management Plans
The suitable candidate should have the following experience or qualifications:
- 3 years minimum full time experience working as a Civil Designer in the Engineering Consultancy Industry.
- Tertiary Qualifications and Certificates are advantageous.
- Extensive understanding and use of AutoCad
- Proficient writing skills
- Ability to work independently but support from other Designers, Engineers and Directors will be available.
Understanding of the following software will be advantageous but not essential: MUSIC, Drains, Civil 3D & Civil Site Design.
Experience in undertaking site inspections and construction supervision relating to Civil Engineering is advantageous but not essential.
We are focused on the upskilling and professional development of our staff and thus training will be provided with the role as is necessary.
You will work as part of an enthusiastic team of Directors, Engineers, Designers and Drafters, and will in some cases be taking ownership of projects and managing their delivery, or also working on components of larger projects with Company Directors.
