Job description
You will be responsible for overseeing on-site activities, managing construction operations, and ensuring accurate implementation of plans. They coordinate with the team, resolve technical issues, and monitor progress for successful project execution.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Organizing and supervising workers at the construction site while coordinating the delivery of construction materials, equipment, and plant in a seamless manner.
· Reading architectural and engineering drawings with precision to estimate total costs and prepare cost plans and estimates to help manage the budget with confidence.
· Monitoring changes to designs and assessing their impact on cost, while negotiating variations to designs confidently.
· Analysing structural systems for both static and dynamic loads and designing structures that guarantee stability and safety with conviction.
· Monitoring key construction requirements and taking prompt corrective action if necessary to ensure that they are met according to the agreed specifications with confidence.
· Reviewing and filing all subcontractor quality records during the construction works without any room for errors.
· Capturing and filing all construction lot verification records during the works to ensure everything is documented with certainty.
· Actively liaising with subcontractors and suppliers confidently to ensure that all parties are aligned.
· Ensuring compliance with systems and processes with full confidence.
· Managing temporary works design and ensuring that all relevant approvals are obtained with conviction.
Skills Required
We are looking for someone with a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field who is great at communicating and working with people. They should have practical experience with building things and be able to explain construction techniques in a way that others can understand. The ideal candidate should also be able to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other people involved in the construction process.
Education and Previous Experience Required
Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering
Working Arrangements
Full-time hours: 40 per week
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $80.000,00 to $100.000,00 per year plus superannuation and annual bonus
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
