Snr Civil Engineer - Urban Water Management

An established Civil Engineering consultancy business that delivers innovative, practical, and sustainable design and project management solutions to their clients, is looking to bring on an experienced ‘Senior Civil Engineer - Urban Water Management’ on a permanent basis.Role: Senior Civil Engineer - Urban Water Management
Work Type: Permanent
Work Style: Hybrid
Salary: Depending on experience
Location: North Sydney or ParramattaResponsibilities:

• Design and project management of significant Urban Development projects including responsibility for civil works specifications, engineering reports and tenders
• Managing the delivery of all design aspects of a project on time and to standards
• Liaising with key clients and stakeholders
• Understanding of safety in design practices and processes
• Apply your technical expertise to help mentor junior engineers

Qualifications & Skills:

• A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of DRAINS and MUSIC is essential
• Knowledge of hydrology and hydraulic modelling & flood risk management
• Experience working on civil infrastructure and urban development projects
• Knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standards
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
