Form of work Champion Engineers Pty Ltd is a multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm that provides design, drafting, certification and project management services in Queensland. We have a strong focus on industrial structures and systems, however also provides a multi-discipline engineering consultancy for a variety of customers including asset owners, original equipment manufacturers and contractors.
Our business is experiencing growth and has a strong pipeline of upcoming works.
This excellent opportunity will be offered on a Permanent Full Time basis at 38 Hours a week.
Salary is $85,000 + superannuation.
The successful candidate must have;
* Strong knowledge of AutoCAD / Inventor / Advance Steel / Tekla
* Strong knowledge of 3D Modelling
* Minimum of 2 years of work experience
* Demonstrated experience in a design office in Australia or New Zealand
* Sound understanding of Steel, Concrete and Masonry construction
Required Attributes
* Motivated and strong personal drive to meet deadlines;
* Excellent organisation and time management skills;
* Excellent Commnication (written and verbal), problem solving skills, teamwork and interpersonal skills;
* Bachelor's degree qualifications (or studying) with eligibility for membership by the Insititute of Engineers Australia or similar or already
members;
* Knowledge of industry and / or regulatory standards, regulations and codes.
Responsibilities include
* Liaise with key stakeholders including client representatives, engineers and internal management;
* Conduct Site Inspection, measurements and documentation of items of relevant to project being undertaken;
* Prepare concept design;
* Conduct engineering review and analysis;
* Use Advance Steel / AutoCAD to deliver and maintain high quality technical engineering and construction drawings in line with project deliverables and company standards;
* Perform quality assurance checks of all works prior to release;
* Conduct though document control processes in line with prescribed system requirements and industry standards.
