Black & More, is a professional engineering and project management business that has operated successfully for over 20 years. With offices in Cairns, Toowoomba, Brisbane, Atherton and the Sunshine Coast, we practise Civil and Structural Engineering and Project Management.
With the growth in our business, we have a position available for a team member in either a civil design or a project management role.
The Role
We are seeking a motivated team member to provide support to our engineering/design team and interface with our project management teams. The role includes the following responsibilities:
- Assist with the designs for Civil Engineering projects - Roads, subdivisions, storm water drainage, major culvert/bridge design.
- Support tendering, procurement and contract administration
- Construction inspections
- Preparation of proposals for new projects
The role, salary and responsibilities will be tailored to suit the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
Requirements
- Tertiary engineering qualification or equivalent construction project management qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience
- Strong verbal communication skills to be able to present and articulate ideas to a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to meet timeframes.
- A client focused approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- The drive to continue to develop their expertise.
- A current drivers licence.
