About the Projects:
Yowani Grounds：
Led by local Canberra developer TP Dynamics, renowned for its focus on large community projects, Yowani Grounds is poised to become Canberra's largest mixed-use development. Positioned strategically at the intersection of Canberra's main entry axis, this project will create a vibrant mini-city comprising over 1000 residences, complemented by retail establishments, cafes, and inviting public areas.
The Garema Place Hotel：
The Garema Place Hotel will be a 10-storey mixed-use hotel building on a 1500sqm site. It will contain 3 basement car park levels and amenities comprising around 238 hotel rooms, multiple restaurants and bars, a wellness center, function rooms, and ballrooms. The development will also feature a center skylight atrium with an acrylic-bottomed pool and multiple outdoor garden terraces on the top levels.
Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead Civil Engineering efforts throughout all phases of the development, ensuring adherence to project objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
- Design Integration: Collaborate closely with architects, urban planners, and other stakeholders to integrate Civil Engineering solutions seamlessly into the overall project design, optimizing functionality, sustainability, and aesthetic appeal.
- Infrastructure Planning: Oversee the planning and design of essential infrastructure components, including roads, utilities, stormwater management systems, and landscaping elements, to support the needs of the mixed-use precinct.
- Construction Management: Provide technical oversight during the construction phase, liaising with contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks and challenges associated with Civil Engineering aspects of the project, developing proactive strategies to mitigate risks and maintain project continuity.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with project stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, and community representatives, to communicate project requirements, address concerns, and foster positive relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Civil Engineering, with a focus on large-scale development projects.
- Proficiency in relevant Civil Engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling software.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
