Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil & Hydraulic Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both civil and Hydraulic Engineering, with a passion for designing and implementing innovative solutions to complex challenges. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from infrastructure development to water resource management.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive engineering designs and solutions.
- Conduct site assessments and surveys to gather data and assess project feasibility.
- Design and analyse hydraulic systems, including pipelines, stormwater management systems, and irrigation networks.
- Prepare detailed engineering plans, drawings, and specifications using industry-standard software.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and simulations to optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical expertise and support during construction and commissioning phases.
- Participate in project meetings, presentations, and client interactions to communicate progress and address concerns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HEC-RAS.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems and optimize designs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
