AddressHDB Town Planning & Design is a long-established consultancy specialising in Civil Engineering, town planning and urban design.
With a strong focus on the Hunter Region, we work across multiple sectors to deliver positive outcomes for our clients. HDB Town Planning & Design has a varied work base from State Significant Developments, major tourist developments, major land release subdivisions to smaller projects in the residential (including subdivision), commercial and industrial areas.
We are seeking a motivated person who embodies our vision of providing a
“comprehensive development and civil design service with professionalism and integrity”. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with people and have a passion for creating cost effective engineering solutions for our clients. More broadly the ideal candidate will be well organised, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be committed.
The role will include the following:
Prepare a range of Civil Engineering plans and reports, including: –
- Stormwater drainage
- Road design
- Water and sewer reticulation design (desirable)
- Bulk earthworks design
- Project management
Liaise with other technical professionals (service providers, engineers,
planners, construction managers)
- Managing projects to meet deadlines
- Establish and maintain client relationships
To be successful in the role you will need: -
- Experience in Civil Engineering design/reporting, ideally within the
development industry
- Proficiency or Knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Civil Site Design,
Drains, Autocad and MUSIC
- Understanding of project management/coordination and delivery of projects.
- Strong organisation and communication skills (written and verbal).
- The ability to think laterally
