As a result of their success and growth, they have created a new position for a Junior Analyst to join their Wholesale Capital team in Melbourne.The opportunity
Sitting in the Real Estate Funds Management team, the role will report to the Head of Wholesale Capital. The Junior Analyst will be supporting the team in engaging with domestic and offshore wholesale investors. The role will liaise with internal stakeholders as well as external clients, asset consultants, funds research and service providers.Key responsibilities will include:
- Working with the Head of Wholesale Capital to build presence in the wholesale capital segment
- Maintaining a strong understanding of the Real Estate division and of key portfolio positions of the underlying funds
- Keeping abreast of key developments and economic commentary in relation to real estate segments within which the Group is active
- Supporting annual ratings review of wholesale and retail open ended funds
- Maintaining key fund presentations and due diligence materials
- Assisting in preparing and distributing monthly and quarterly fund updates
- Supporting the preparation of quarterly market commentary for the Group’s private debt funds and webinar presentations
- Assisting with onboarding of new investors and act as a key point of contact for queries
- Post graduate studies in finance/accounting
- Experience in Corporate Finance (public practice), funds management, real estate, or real estate debt is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and presentation skills
- A commonsense approach to problem solving
