As we continue to grow and take on more balustrade and steel structural projects, we are looking for a talented Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our dynamic team.
Position: Civil Engineering Draftsperson (Full Time Position)
Key Responsibilities:
- Frequently visit construction sites to perform site measurements and inspections of existing buildings or steel structures.
- Prepare cost estimations based on tender documents, specifications, and other relevant materials and negotiate with clients to secure contracts
- Utilize AutoCAD, including 3D modelling, to produce approval drawings as per site measurements and the latest construction drawing packages.
- Secure drawing approvals from architects and engineers, making necessary amendments as per their comments.
- Prepare fabrication shop drawings and generate Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Order materials, off-the-shelf components, and laser cutting items from regular suppliers.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification in a related engineering field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software including 3d Modelling.
- Previous experience in the engineering balustrade or structural steel industry.
- Strong attention to detail as required in construction drawings.
- Excellent to moderate knowledge in Microsoft office package and project planning tool.
- Working Hours will be 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
- Salary will be $75,000 to $85,000 per annum for right candidate.
