Civil Engineering Technician

Detailed Description

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineering Technician with design experience to join our team on a full-time basis.

We are looking for an engineer who is based in Bendigo, or willing to relocate here. You will receive personalised mentoring and excellent project opportunities.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise on a variety of land development, subdivision, sports field and infrastructure projects
• Develop detailed engineering designs of land subdivision developments, sports field, authority sewer and water works
• Coordinate and liaise with councils, authorities and developers to ensure timely delivery of projects
• Prepare design drawings, etc.

Skills and experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications and preferably 2 years’ professional experience
• Experience with AutoCAD and 12D software
• Knowledge of local government, service authority, construction standards, specifications and processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, good teamwork interaction and self-motivation
• Drivers license
