Civil Estimating Engineer

To be successful in this position, you will:Hold a civil engineering qualification,Have a minimum 3 years experience in estimating and compiling full tender bids for submission,Have proven ability to research requirements from tender documentation, produce accurate quantity take offs and obtain resource and productivity estimates, andHave demonstrated capacity to develop internal and external relationships and negotiate positive outcomes.We're civil contractors based in Perth, providing tailored civil contracting solutions to our clients.   We work across a range of diverse capabilities, so our employees are always exposed to different projects, environments and unique challenges. DM Civil is seeking a professional and motivated Engineer to enhance our estimating team.

You will have solid experience producing full tender submissions in line with tender documentation provided.   Opportunities to be part of the project life cycle from estimating through to project completion are available. Key responsibilities include:Collate tender worksheets and responses in line with our tender checklist,Measure and calculate all quantities from tender drawings and documents,Identify and raise technical queries as necessary,Ensure that current standards are utilised and met, including AS/ISO, client and consultant specifications and local government authority requirements, andCarry out regular site visits to continually improve on estimation knowledge and requirements.
