My clients offer a challenging mix of council/subdivision/infrastructure civil construction projects across the Victoria market and I have had multiple requests for experienced Civil Estimators/engineers to be engaged across the front-end bid submission and construction delivery management.
The Role
You will play a key role in pricing and estimating key projects from $100k to multi-million dollars covering the following duties:
- Proven experience as an Estimator or QS in the Australian civil construction or infrastructure industry (minimum 2 years)
- Strong knowledge of construction materials (concrete, earth and steel), methods, and cost estimation principles.
- Proficiency in industry-standard estimation software and tools (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, or equivalent).
- Expert application of Excel is a must.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret project drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or a related field
- Strong level of autonomy
