Job DescriptionAbout the role
Stabilised Pavements of Australia is seeking to employ skilled operators into our business based out of Perth. Reporting to a supervisor or foreman, this position will be responsible for the field operation of heavy plant on projects across Western Australia. The role can be a mix of operating rollers, loaders, watercarts, or our specialist spreaders or mixers. We are specifically seeking those that can transition to floating gear in multi combinations. The work environment can range from highways to rural shire roads, mine sites or ports and airports. We are seeking team players who are driven by good culture and professionalism.
Duties
- Work to set instructions set down by Foreman/Supervisor
- Operate machinery in a safe and technically correct manner
- Manage plant maintenance and cleanliness
- Daily reporting & pre-starts
Skills & Experience
- Unrestricted HR licence (HC a distinct advantage)
- 2+ years' experience driving HR
- Experience on a variety of road construction plant and civil construction sites will be a distinct advantage – nationally recognised tickets/VOC’s even better!
- Must be flexible
- Must be well presented
- Have impeccable customer service skills
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Sound understanding of safe work practices
- Ability to undertake pre-employment medical and DAS
