Civil Plant Operator

PSW are currently seeking crusher operators to join one of our local quarries, located in Bathurst NSW

Tasks include, but are not limited to;

• Compliance with all environmental and safe work practices.
• Safe effective operation of the fixed crush and screening plant, reporting any safety, operational or equipment issue that arise.
• Fundamental component maintenance- screen & conveyor running gear, lubrication & dust suppression adjustments.
• Provide quality operation of areas, meeting required targets set in daily pre-start meetings, complete all required checks, cleaning, housekeeping needs and tasks set by Quarry Management and Supervisors.
• Provide positive, constructive, and professional handovers to the supervisor & administration staff regarding the Crushers operations, faults, and any arising issues.
• Developing an understanding and ability to positively contribute to quality production outcomes.
• Area housekeeping to include tasks such as shovelling and hosing.
• Other tasks as assigned.

A successful applicant looks like;

• Prior experience in operating and inspecting fixed plant equipment (preferred but not essential)
• A 'C' class driver' licence.
• A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
• Available for 10 hour working days Monday- Friday. Overtime available.
• Plant maintenance- preferred previous mechanical experience.
• Basic trouble shooting and fault finding - condition monitoring.
• The ability to pass drug & alcohol testing as well as pre-employment medical.
