PROJECT ENGINEER ROLE WORKING FOR A CIVIL COMPANY
CIVIL PROJECT ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL.

The primary objective of this position is to provide on-site engineering services to assist in the achievement of organizational and project objective.
The Role
The following key accountabilities relate to this position
- Undertake all HSEQ responsibilities as identified for your role in the Project’s Management Plans and associated documents.
- As required, escalate potential and actual risks that may impact the safe, timely and cost-efficient delivery of activities under management.
- Manage quality production defined by method statements and ITP’s. Monitor construction progress to ensure acceptable quality of structures and finishes.
- Establish, measure and report daily productivities for assigned activities.
- Undertake cost controlling and estimating as required by Project Manager.
- Develop, monitor and report on programmes for elements of work as required by the Project Manager.
- Manage work teams in the field.
- Verify subcontractors’ claims and variations.
- Undertake procurement as required including use of ViewPoint and ensuring adherence to SWC governance requirements such as authority limits.
- Understand, comply and remain current with all company policies, procedures and compliance training as relevant to your role.
- Maintain up to date knowledge and application of, legislation, industry standards and technological innovations as relevant to your role.
