The Gig!
Due to growth and the award of a project, a newly created role is available for a highly motivated and focused Project Engineer to join the business. Your primary goal is simple - You will be accountable for providing engineering expertise to develop project construction methodologies; plan and price scopes of work, along with technical content and programs for a Civil Project based in Western Sydney working alongside a large Tier 2 builder.
Based onsite at the project in Western Sydney, and reporting to the Project Manager, you will ply your trade to price, plan, schedule, review, organise and procure resources for current and upcoming projects. You will then be allocated to site and help deliver construction scopes within budget and to agreed specifications.
You will be trusted with:

• Organising and managing sub-contractors on site
• Managing contract documentation and processing variations
• Preparing reports and documentation
• Proactively recommending changes to ensure quality delivery of engineering projects
• Monitoring work progress - Proactively identifying and rectifying problems
• Assisting the development of construction methodologies, staging, sequencing, and programming of Civil Projects
• Site planning and coordination as per the program of works on a bi weekly basis.

What’s In Your Toolbox?
You are an exceptional communicator, collaborative and are a natural problem solver! Your ability to translate technical complexities, your analytical approach, and toolbox of methodologies will be key assets as you work towards successful solution outcomes!
You will have at least 5 years post graduate experience as a Civil Engineer ideally within civil construction projects in Australia.
