About the role
We are currently seeking a Civil Project Engineer to provide project support (QA& HSE documentation and reports, Daily work diary etc.) on renewable energy Projects in Central and North QLD on a FIFO /DIDO roster. Must be available for an immediate start, initially working from home on Project documentation. The role then becomes site based from approximately mid June 2024.
Essential Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Construction
- Minimum of four years experience in a similar role
- Must have demonstrated experience in bulk earthworks and concreting Note: Resumes without this experience will be rejected.
- Must be currently living and working in QLD
- Knowledge of and ability to produce quality project documentation e.g. SWMS, Risk Assessments, reports, ITPs, IFCs
- Must be comfortable to work for a privately owned company
- Must be able to provide proof of right to work in Australia ( copy of birth cert or passport)
- Must be willing to undergo medical & drug and alcohol health screening
- Ability and willingness to complete online and face to face training and inductions
- Current Open Drivers License
- Construction White Card
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Knowledge and experience in other project software e.g. MS Project
- Sound communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to prioritise and organise work
- Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
