About the Company
Having been established for over forty years, our client holds a prominent position in the Northern Territory as a leading multi-disciplinary construction company. We are seeking a Project Manager to spearhead our construction endeavours, ensuring the successful completion of projects while upholding safety, contract compliance, and client satisfaction.
Main Purpose of the Role:
As the Project Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the entire project lifecycle, from tender submissions to construction and commissioning/. Handover. You will be entrusted with managing project operations, maintaining site safety, and providing strategic insights for project implementation. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, including clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities, to ensure seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Managing project operations in alignment with directives and deliverables
Ensuring adherence to workplace health and safety standards
Participating in bid processes and contributing constructability insights
Identifying risks and opportunities in tender submissions
Liaising with site and contracts management for effective project planning
Supervising subcontractor activities and procurement processes
Overseeing financial control, reporting, and budget management
Managing project schedules and programme development
Implementing project procedures and administrative tasks
Demonstrating leadership and fostering a collaborative project culture
Skills & Experience Required:
Senior-level expertise on major Civil Projects
Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and management principles
Proficiency in project programming and contract administration
Relevant qualifications or equivalent industry experience
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
