Reporting to the General Manager, your main responsibilities will be to manage high profile building, civil, environmental / remediation projects, demolition / decommissioning and work closely with Senior Management and the project team, to ensure high quality project delivery outcomes.
To be successful in this role you must possess the following;
- Experience across multiple disciplines, with proven commercial, contractual, and HR management skills
- Proven track record of the successful project delivery of several projects at any one time
- Proven track record of exceeding project tendered margins, whilst maintaining excellent client relationships
- Proficient technical, planning and financial management skills including detailed cost forecasting, programming, earned value analysis, resource planning & risk management initiatives.
- Proven knowledge and understanding of achieving occupational health and safety principles and industrial relations management
- Excel in strong team leadership qualities to effect team discipline in project deliverables inclusive of high standard of cultural behaviors towards occupational health and safety, quality environmental controls.
- Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound computer literacy skills in relevant fields including Company accounting software, MS Project, MS Office and Outlook
- Sound technical knowledge across a wide range of skillsets, trade disciplines and project lifecycles
- Excellent time management including prioritisation and delegation of project tasks
- Demonstrated ability to identify early, manage and resolve issues as they arise during the course of a project.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor while maintaining strong team accountability, with high expectations while promoting growth and encouraging team bonding.
- Adhere to and promote company R.I.S.E values
- Ability to promote the company and participate in client development programs & events
- Carryout daily duties with discipline and quality outputs
Qualifications;
- Minimum 5 years construction and/ or project management experience
- Registered builder’s certification preferred
- Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Building, Economics or equivalent
