The Gig!
Due to growth and ongoing projects, a new opportunity is available for a strategic, accountable and relationship driven Project Manager to join the business and support the development and growth of the residential development division! Your primary goal is simple - You will be responsible for overall management of key land-development projects from concept through to completion.
Based in Wollongong, reporting to the Wollongong Manager, you’ll ply your trade to approvals, budgeting, task coordination, cost control, risk management, stakeholder and subcontractor oversight, and compliance. You’ll be an essential part of a dynamic team, dedicated to delivering exceptional and innovative solutions!
You will be trusted with:
- Taking charge of project planning, execution, and successful completion, always keeping a tight grip on timelines and budgets
- Efficiently allocating resources, ensuring seamless teamwork with colleagues and productive collaboration with external partners
- Developing and executing a comprehensive Project Management Plan covering every project phase.
- Meticulously overseeing day-to-day project operations, managing resources and budgets with precision
- Providing transparent and insightful status reports, maintaining open communication with leadership about project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues
- Proactively supervising project outcomes, swiftly resolving any challenges that arise
- Fostering and developing essential relationships with authorities and agencies to secure project approvals
- Skillfully creating and presenting fee proposals for new projects and contract adjustments, drawing from various disciplines within the organization
You will have 5+ years’ experience in Project Management ; hold a Bachelor of Engineering or be professionally qualified.
You excel as a communicator, seamlessly blending technical and business expertise. You're a problem solver, self-driven, adaptable, and adept at managing changing circumstances and competing demands. An organisational powerhouse, your plans are always meticulous and well-communicated.
