Job Summary
Martinus is seeking a Civil or Track Site Engineer for our Albury to Parkes Project with Inland Rail.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Managing co-ordination of the partners and working groups engaged in project work.
- Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan
- Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan
- Recording project issues and raising with the supervisor when escalation is necessary.
- Resolving cross-functional issues at the project level
- Managing project scope and change control and raising with the project supervisor when escalation is necessary.
- Monitoring project progress and performance
- Providing status reports to the project manager
- Managing supplier content within the defined budget
- Working closely with users to ensure the project meets business needs.
- Preparation of quality documentation and plans
- Maintaining project summary spreadsheets for financial review
Experience
- 2+ years of working experience as a Civil/Track Site Engineer.
- Experience in rail or construction essential.
- Proven ability to work with others in a collaborative and professional manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
- Effective active listening skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and process orientated.
- Organised with a systematic approach to tasks to achieve accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent attention to detail with emphasis placed on quality.
- A self-starter, highly motivated and goal oriented
