Civil Site Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our clients dynamic team working on a significant infrastructure project based in New South Wales. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and execution phases of the project, ensuring its successful delivery within specified timelines and budgets.Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and technical assessments to inform project planning.
• Prepare detailed designs, specifications, and construction drawings in accordance with regulatory standards and project requirements.
• Oversee the implementation of engineering designs, providing technical guidance and support to on-site teams.
• Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any potential issues or delays to ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
• Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate project coordination and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and presentations for project stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in engineering design and construction methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or eligibility for licensure in New South Wales.
• Proven experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to upholding safety standards and promoting a culture of safety on project sites.
