ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Civil Site Supervisor - Project, you will be responsible for undertaking the day-to-day on-site supervision, including civil/infrastructure and all relevant temporary works for the projects. To ensure that design, technical, and quality standards are achieved safely and according to time & budget parameters.
KEY DUTIES AND TASKS
- Ensuring that safe and environmentally acceptable working methods and practices are implemented. Ensuring that hazards are identified, risks assessed, and control measures planned and implemented in consultation with relevant employees.
- Monitoring and reviewing the performance of contractors to ensure production targets are met or bettered and take appropriate action as necessary.
- Organising, coordinating and directing construction activities in accordance with construction schedules so as to complete the works on time and within budget whilst constantly ensuring that planning, safety, environmental and quality requirements are met.
- Monitoring activities schedules, QA/QC, cost, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
- Performance management and leadership of staff.
- Promptly advising management of any issues that could be variations to the contract and keep accurate records of such issues.
- Any other duties as requested by Project Manager required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or above – Civil background
- Current unencumbered C Western Australian Drivers Licence
- Willing to obtain schedule 26 or section 44
WORK KNOWLEDGE
- Extensive experience working in the construction industry on civil infrastructure projects having previously held the position of Superintendent or Senior Supervisor
- Relevant qualification;
- Experience working on large multidisciplinary projects from conception to completion;
- A good understanding of design, engineering, construction and commissioning documentation;
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contribute to the culture of teamwork and take on responsibility for achieving results;
- Proven experience in working in a fast paced and dynamic environment with multiple conflicting deadlines;
- Proven ability to liaise effectively and collaboratively, to facilitate and achieve desired outcomes and to establish and maintain strong, productive working relationships.

- Receive $12k residential allowance per annum, if you are residential and not FIFO.
- Receive up to $5k site allowance per annum, depending on your site location.
