We are currently looking to engage a Civil / Structural Engineer to join our engineering team based in our Thornton branch. 

About the role

• Structural conceptual design in both steel and concrete applications.
• Detail design lifting structures and supporting surfaces. 
• Detail design concrete beams, slabs and pentice structures.
• Scope, produce, and review completed designs and documentation
• Adaptable, forward-thinking engineer must be able to work autonomously. 
• Join a hard-working team focussed on delivering the best for project outcomes through innovation, dedication, and teamwork.
• Co-ordinate external consultants (Surveyors, Geo technics etc.) for the incorporation of any required engineering inputs into designs
• Production of engineering and cost estimates where required. 

About You

• Relevant industry experience
• Bachelor of Civil Engineering or relevant engineering qualifications
• Be based in the Newcastle NSW area
• Proficient with AUTOCAD, Inventor, Space Gass, and or Deswik.
• Self-motivated but ability to work within a team environment
• Excellent communication skills
• A keen eye for detail
• Understand the importance of maintaining strong client relationships
• Ability to travel when required.
