Civil Supervisor

This civil contractor was founded many years ago by a few mates who loved working together.  The principles today are the very same as they were with the same leadership team who have hired talent around them to help grow the business to make it what it is today.

They specialise in the area of sporting fields and outdoor spaces along with landscaping & earthmoving.  They are a go-to trusted subcontractor from the very largest players and a principle contractor on projects up to $10m.

Due to the winning of a new $4.6m sporting field project 5 km east of the city, 2 further projects in the western suburbs and one just north of the city and a healthy pipeline of work moving forward, they are now looking to welcome an additional Supervisor to join the team.

This is an opportunity for a Supervisor to work with a great bunch of principled people who pay good, solid money for you to do what you love with plenty of work on the horizon.  These guys really do offer you a career and not just a day's work with exceptional loyalty within the business and an excellent name in the industry that would look excellent on your resume.  You also usually only have to work one Saturday a month!

Their yard is based in the Northern Suburbs but they win work all over metropolitan Melbourne.  You will report directly to the Construction Manager and work closely with the Project Manager (who I know personally and is a funny and easy-going guy with good values and who is great to work with day to day).  He'll work with you in the way that best works for you and allow you to really make this position your own (he was a Supervisor, so he understands exactly how important this is!).

To be considered for this role, you must have experience in building sporting fields, open spaces and landscape construction experience.  Certification in Landscape / Construction and OHS is also required.

You will also be provided with a vehicle with full private use and an annual bonus up to 10% of your base salary.  This contractor usually only worksone Saturday a month which gives you a great work life balance to boot!
