An opportunity has opened for an experienced “Hands-On” Civil Supervisor to maintain and manage existing contracts and upcoming projects.
We are seeking an experienced dynamic individual who is extremely motivated, highly energetic and organised with a passion to lead and complete projects.
Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, you will primarily be responsible for the high-quality, safe and successful delivery of your assigned projects, on time and on budget.
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
Your key duties include but are not limited to:
- Manage the allocated plant, materials and human resources, to meet key project timelines for assigned projects
- Liaise with all subcontractors and ensure completed works meet the required specifications
- Ensure that workers adhere to Applied Groups safety policies and procedures at all times, whilst maintaining quality standards.
- Adhering to allocated budgets and KPI’s for projects monthly and flag any issues
- Participate in site audits, client meetings, signoffs, safety inspections and other requirements, at appropriate stages for each project
- Manage job site on a day-to-day basis
- Delegate daily responsibilities
- Ensure project documentation and administration is completed as required.
- Work in conjunction with the Project Manager, Estimators & Engineers
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You must have experience in civil construction environments in a supervisory capacity, with a focus on commercial work.
You are an organised and capable people person with high professional standards and the interpersonal communication and negotiation skills and ensure works are completed the right way, first time, every time. You will be focused on health and safety and enjoy exceeding productivity, budget and quality targets.

- The ability to travel for regional based projects
