Our project team is expanding! We are looking for Site Supervisors to join our team on a Full-Time basis working FIFO in the Northwest of Western Australia.
FIFO out of Perth on a 2:1 roster.
This role reports to the Project Manager and will work closely with personnel on site ensuring prompt project delivery and quality works.
In addition to working with a great team, the successful applicant will receive ongoing project exposure allowing you to further develop your technical and leadership skills. There will be an opportunity for a strong performer to progress their career and move into senior roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effective supervision of direct and subcontractor resources on site
- Ensure the Safety of employees and safe standards of work
- Ability to manage the project timeframe and ensure key dates are met
- Daily planning for work crews and in field leadership
- Scoping of site projects for accurate estimation
- Working with the client and the Project Manager to ensure all KPI's are met
- Training of new employees
- Performance review of employees
- Promoting a positive safety culture
- Ensuring quality and environmental requirement of the project and the client are met
- Coordinating and managing subcontractors engaged onsite
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Sufficient experience with bulk and detail earthworks (essential)
- Strong communication and planning skills
- Demonstrated experience in effective HSQE management
- Willingness/ ability to work in remote FIFO locations
- Cert IV in Frontline Management or similar (desirable)
- Cert IV in WHS or similar (desirable)
- Hold a current Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Pass a pre-employment medical and D&A
